“Give Me Strength: The ’74/’75 Recordings” celebra o período entre Abril de 1974 e Junho de 1975, quando Eric Clapton produziu 3 icónicos álbuns: “461 Ocean Boulevard”, “There’s One In Every Crowd”, e ainda “E.C. Was Here”. São esses trabalhos que estão incluídos nesta fantástica reedição de 5 CDs e áudio Blu-Ray, com todos os temas remasterizados e em versão alargada. “461 Ocean Boulevard” traz ainda 4 outtakes raros, enquanto “There’s One In Every Crowd” inclui ambos os lados do single “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” e 2 temas inéditos: “Burial” e “Fools Like Me”. Já “E.C. Was Here” não foi apenas remasterizado, como também remixado.
São 2 os CDs dedicados a este trabalho, com extras nunca antes divulgados, como versões alternativas de “Layla” e “Little Wing”. O quinto CD é composto pelas sessões de Clapton com o guitarrista Freddie King: são quatro temas, entre eles uma versão de 22 minutos de “Gambling Woman Blues”.
